If you are near the Parliament Buildings or National Heroes Square, walk south towards the Careenage (the waterfront). Independence Square is situated along the waterfront, adjacent to the Chamberlain Bridge and Independence Arch. The walk is generally flat and takes about 5-10 minutes from nearby landmarks.
