Public Transport
From Bridgetown, the capital, take any bus heading north along Highway 1 (also known as the West Coast Road). Buses 1, 1A, 1B, 1C, 23, 27, and others frequently travel this route. The standard bus fare is BBD 3.50 (approximately USD 1.75), payable in cash (Barbadian dollars only). Inform the driver you wish to get off at Fitts Village. The bus stop is directly opposite Jordan's Supermarket, a short walk from the beach.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxis are readily available throughout Barbados. A taxi from Bridgetown to Fitts Village will cost approximately BBD 40-50 (USD 20-25), depending on traffic and the time of day. Always confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey. Ride-sharing services are less common, so taxis are the more reliable option.
Driving
From Bridgetown, follow Highway 1 (the West Coast Road) north. The drive is approximately 5 km and takes about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Look for signs indicating Fitts Village. Limited parking is available along the road near the beach and at the Church of the Good Shepherd. Parking is free in these areas.
