Inform the driver you are going to Walkers Beach. The bus will drop you off at the nearest stop on Highway 1, approximately a 10-15 minute walk to the beach. Driving
From the ABC Highway (Highway 1), follow signs towards the East Coast and Saint Andrew. Continue along Highway 1 until you see signs for Walkers Beach. Turn onto the smaller road leading towards the coast. Limited free parking is available near the beach. Be aware that the roads leading to the beach can be narrow and winding.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxis and ride-sharing services are available from most locations in Barbados. A taxi from Bridgetown to Walkers Beach will cost approximately $80-100 BBD. The journey takes around 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. Confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey. The taxi will drop you off directly at the parking lot near the beach.
