Public Transport
From Bridgetown, the most economical way to reach Andromeda Botanic Gardens is by bus. Several bus routes connect Bridgetown to Bathsheba. From the Fairchild Street Terminal, take bus #6 to Bathsheba. Alternatively, from the Constitutional River Terminal, take the yellow Bathsheba bus (leaves ten minutes after the hour) or ZR number 21 (leaves thirty minutes after the hour) from Gate 2. The journey takes approximately 45-50 minutes. From the Bathsheba bus stop, walk uphill along Highway 3 for about 5 minutes; the gardens will be on your right. The bus fare is BBD$3.50 per person, each way.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxis are readily available in Barbados, and a taxi or ride-share from Bridgetown to Andromeda Botanic Gardens offers a direct and convenient option. The journey typically takes around 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Expect to pay between BBD$80-BBD$100 for a one-way trip. Always confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.
Driving
If driving from the south, approach via St. John, drive through St. Margarets and Foster Hall, and turn right at the sign to Bathsheba. The entrance is the first gap on the right. If coming from the west, approach via Highway 3 via Andrew Sugar Factory. Go down Horse Hill, turning right at the junction near the bars. Keep going until you see the Andromeda sign. Turn left and enter on the right. Parking is available at the gardens.
