Public Transport
From Bridgetown, the capital, the most economical way to reach Foursquare Rum Distillery is by bus. Several bus routes (11, 16A, 34) connect Bridgetown's Fairchild Street Terminal to the Six Roads area. From Six Roads, it's approximately a 20-minute walk (1.6km) to Foursquare. Alternatively, take bus 10 from Halls Roadabout to Marchfield, which is closer to the distillery. Bus fares are typically around BBD 3.50 per person each way. Check the bus schedules in advance as services may vary.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxis are readily available throughout Barbados. A taxi from the Oistins area to Foursquare Rum Distillery will cost approximately BBD 25-40 and take around 20 minutes. From Bridgetown, expect to pay BBD 44-54. Always confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey. Ride-sharing services are less common in Barbados, so taxis are generally the more reliable option.
Driving
If driving from the south coast (e.g., Oistins), head east on Highway 7, then turn north onto Highway 6 towards Six Roads. Continue past Six Roads, following the signs for Foursquare Rum Distillery. From Bridgetown, take the ABC Highway (Highway 1) heading east, then exit onto Highway 6 towards Six Roads. The distillery is located on Foursquare Road, just off Highway 6. Parking is free and readily available on-site.
