To take a bus from Paynes Bay to Oistins, walk to the nearest bus stop along Highway 1. Board a ZR van (minibus) heading towards Oistins. The fare is inexpensive, and the journey will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Oistins. Once you arrive, follow the signs to the Oistins Fish Fry area, which is a short walk from the bus stop.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Paynes Bay to Oistins. Simply hail a taxi from the street or ask your hotel to call one for you. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey, as taxis in Barbados do not use meters.
