Batts Rock Park: A Coastal Paradise

Batts Rock Park is a captivating coastal destination on the west coast of Barbados, offering a blend of natural beauty and recreational opportunities. The park features a golden sandy beach that slopes into the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean Sea, creating an ideal spot for relaxation and exploration. In the early 1990s, the Rotary Club of Barbados West played a significant role in transforming Batts Rock into a national park, collaborating with the National Conservation Commission (NCC) to develop the land and facilities. The park was officially opened in 1997 and has since become a beloved destination for locals and tourists. Visitors should be aware of manchineel trees, marked with red paint, and avoid touching them. La Cabane Beach Bar and Restaurant is located within the park, offering refreshments.
