From Bridgetown, take the #4 or #5C bus from the Fairchild Street Terminal towards Chalky Mount. The bus ride takes approximately 35 minutes. The fare is BBD 3.50. Ask the driver to let you off at the Chalky Mount stop. From there, it's a short walk to the trailhead.
Taxi/Ride-Share
From Bridgetown, a taxi or ride-share to Chalky Mount costs approximately BBD 70-100 and takes around 25 minutes, depending on traffic. It's advisable to negotiate the fare beforehand. Ask the driver to take you to the Chalky Mount trailhead.
Driving
From Bridgetown, follow Highway 3 towards the east coast. Continue onto Highway 4, then turn onto Highway 2. Follow the signs to Chalky Mount. Parking is available near the trailhead. Be aware that the roads can be narrow and winding in some areas.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of Ermy Bourne Highway, navigate to Ermy Bourne Highway. Walking from central Saint Joseph to the Chalky Mount Hike Start/Parking area may take approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on your pace. Just keep heading towards the direction of Springfield, and you will find the hike start/parking area along Ermy Bourne Hwy.
