Public Transport
From Bridgetown, the most economical way to reach Rockley Beach is by bus. Several bus routes (12A, 12D, 12F, 27, 13, 28, 31) operate from the Fairchild Street Terminal in Bridgetown directly to Rockley. The journey takes approximately 10-15 minutes, and the bus fare is BBD $2.00 (USD $1.00) per person each way. Alight at the 'Chefette Rockley' bus stop, which is conveniently located right across the street from the beach.
Taxi/Ride-Share
A taxi or ride-share from Bridgetown to Rockley Beach offers a quicker, more direct route. The journey typically takes around 6-8 minutes, depending on traffic. Expect to pay between BBD $30 - $40 (USD $15 - $20) for the ride. Taxis are readily available at the Bridgetown port and throughout the city. Always confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.
Driving
If driving from Bridgetown, head south along Highway 7 (also known as the South Coast Highway). The drive is straightforward and well-signposted. Rockley Beach is located on the left-hand side of the road. Limited free parking is available near the beach entrance, but spaces fill up quickly, especially during peak hours. Street parking is also available nearby. Some parking lots charge a nominal fee.
