    Public Transport

    From Bridgetown, the capital, several buses (1, 1A, 1CB, 27, etc.) head up the west coast and stop near Paynes Bay. The bus ride takes approximately 20 minutes and costs BBD$3.50 (USD$1.75). Ask the driver to announce the Paynes Bay stop. From the bus stop, the beach is a short walk across the road, opposite the St. James Pentecostal Church.
