If you are driving from the center of Scotland District, head northwest on the A2 highway towards the coast. Continue on the A2 for approximately 15 minutes until you reach the junction for Saint James. Take the exit towards Saint James and follow the signs for Paynes Bay Beach. You will pass through a few residential areas; keep an eye out for the beach signs. Once you get close, turn left onto Paynes Bay Road, and the beach will be on your right. There is ample parking available near the beach.
Public Transportation
To reach Paynes Bay Beach using public transport, start by finding a bus stop in Scotland District. Look for a bus heading towards Holetown or Speightstown, as these routes will take you towards Saint James. Once on the bus, ask the driver to drop you off at Paynes Bay Beach. The ride will take about 30-40 minutes. After getting off, walk towards the beach, which is only a short walk from the bus stop.
