Public Transport
From Bridgetown, the capital of Barbados, the most economical way to reach Andromeda Botanic Gardens is by bus. Head to the Fairchild Street Terminal and look for the bus to Bathsheba (Gate 6). The bus typically leaves on the hour, every hour. The journey takes approximately 50 minutes and offers scenic views of the island. The bus fare is BD$3.50 per person each way. Once in Bathsheba, the gardens are a short walk uphill from the bus stop. Alternatively, from the Constitutional River Terminal, take the yellow Bathsheba bus (ten to the hour) or the ZR number 21 (30 minutes past the hour), both from Gate 2.
Taxi/Ride-Share
A taxi or ride-share from Bridgetown to Andromeda Botanic Gardens offers a more direct and comfortable option. The journey typically takes around 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Expect to pay between BD$80-BD$110 for a one-way trip. Driving
If you have a rental car, driving to Andromeda Botanic Gardens is a straightforward option. From Bridgetown, follow Highway 3 towards the east coast. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you reach the Bathsheba area, follow the signs to Andromeda Botanic Gardens. There is parking available on-site. Approaching from the south, drive through St John, through St Margarets and Foster Hall, turning right at the sign to Bathsheba. The entrance is the first gap on the right. Approaching from the west, take Highway 3 via Andrew Sugar Factory. Parking is free.
