Driving
If driving from Bridgetown or other parts of the island, follow Highway 1C towards the north. As you approach the northern tip of St. Lucy, look for signs directing you to Animal Flower Cave. The roads leading directly to the cave can be a bit pot-holed, so drive carefully. Parking is available near the entrance. Be mindful of local vendors who may approach you upon arrival.
Public Transport
From Bridgetown, take bus 1C from the Princess Alice Terminal towards Connelltown. Get off at the bus stop near the intersection of Highway 1C and Animal Flower Cave Road in Connelltown. From there, it's approximately a 15-minute walk down Animal Flower Cave Road to the entrance. The bus fare is $3.50 BBD per ride. Note that bus schedules may vary.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxis are readily available throughout Barbados. A taxi from Speightstown to Animal Flower Cave will cost approximately $30-$40 BBD. Confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey. Ride-sharing services may be limited in this area.
