Getting There
Walking
From the Barbados Museum or the Garrison Savannah, walk north along Bay Street. Harbour Lights will be on your left, directly on the beach side of the road, approximately a 10-15 minute walk. Look for the brightly lit entrance and beachfront setting.
Public Transport
The bus system in Bridgetown is a popular and cost-effective way to travel. Operated by the Barbados Transport Board, the blue government-owned buses serve various routes that cover the entire island. There are also privately owned yellow buses and smaller ZR vans (white with a maroon stripe). The price is the same for all three for any origin or destination on the island, BBD 3.50 (Barbados Dollar, equivalent to USD 1.75). Designated bus stops can be easily identified by their red, white, and black color.
Taxi
Taxis are widely available in Bridgetown and can be a convenient option. They are not metered, so it's advisable to agree on the fare with the driver before starting your journey. From the seaport, a taxi to Harbour Lights on Carlisle Bay costs approximately $5 USD per person.
Driving
From central Bridgetown, follow Bay Street south. Harbour Lights is located on the left side of the road, directly on the beach. Limited parking is available near Harbour Lights, and it can fill up quickly, especially during peak hours and event nights. Alternative parking can be found along Bay Street, but be prepared for a short walk. Parking fees may apply in some areas.
