Public Transport
From Bridgetown, the most economical way to reach Andromeda Botanic Gardens is by bus. Head to the Fairchild Street Terminal and board the Bathsheba bus (typically route #6), which departs approximately every hour. The journey takes around 50 minutes and offers scenic views of the island. Ask the driver to drop you off near Andromeda Botanic Gardens on Highway 3. From the bus stop, it's a short walk to the entrance. The bus fare is approximately $2 BBD per person.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxis are readily available from most locations in Barbados, including Bridgetown and the airport. A taxi ride from Bridgetown to Andromeda Botanic Gardens takes approximately 20 minutes. Expect to pay around $40-$55 BBD for the trip. Ride-sharing services are less common in Barbados, so taxis are generally the more reliable option.
Driving
If driving from the south (e.g., Christ Church), take Highway 7 north towards the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Highway 3. Continue on Highway 3 for approximately 15 minutes, following signs to Bathsheba. The entrance to Andromeda Botanic Gardens will be on your right. From the west, approach via Highway 3 through Andrew Sugar Factory. There is free parking available at the gardens.
