Walking
Elegance Catamaran departs from The Wharf Road in Bridgetown. If you are in the city center, walking is a viable option. From Heroes Square, walk south along the waterfront, passing the Chamberlain Bridge. Continue along the paved path until you reach the area where catamarans are docked. The walk is approximately 5-10 minutes. There are no costs associated with walking.
Public Transport
If arriving by public transport from elsewhere on the island, take a bus to one of the main terminals in Bridgetown (Fairchild Street or Princess Alice Terminal). From either terminal, it is a short walk to The Wharf Road. Barbados Transport Board buses are blue with a yellow stripe. Mini-buses are yellow with a blue stripe, and ZR vans are white with a maroon stripe. The bus fare is BDS$3.50 (USD$1.75).
Taxi
Taxis are readily available throughout Barbados. A taxi from the Grantley Adams International Airport (BGI) to Bridgetown will cost approximately BDS$50-60 (USD$25-30), and the journey takes around 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. From most hotels in the Bridgetown area, a taxi to Elegance Catamaran will be a short ride with a fare of approximately BDS$20-30 (USD$10-15).
Driving
If driving, navigate to Bridgetown and follow signs for the city center. Parking is available in paid car parks in Bridgetown at a rate of approximately BDS$2 (USD$1) per hour. Be aware that traffic in Bridgetown can be heavy, especially during rush hour (7:30-9:30 am and 3:00-5:30 pm). A local driver's permit is required to drive in Barbados and costs BDS$10 (USD$5).
