From Bridgetown, George Washington House is easily accessible by public bus or ZR van. Several bus routes travel along Highway 7 towards the Garrison Historic Area. Board any bus heading in that direction from the Fairchild Street Terminal or Princess Alice Terminal. The standard bus fare is BDS$3.50. Disembark at the Garrison Historic Area stop, and it's a short walk to the house. Look for clear signage directing you to the entrance.
Taxi/Ride-Share
A taxi or ride-share from within Bridgetown is a convenient option. The ride to George Washington House takes approximately 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic. Expect to pay between BDS$26.00-34.00 for the short trip. Ask the driver to take you to George Washington House in the Garrison Historic Area. There is usually parking available near the entrance.
Walking
If you are already in Bridgetown, particularly near the city center, walking to George Washington House is feasible. The walk takes approximately 30-45 minutes.
