Walking
If you are starting from the Aalst train station, exit the station and head southwest on Koningin Astridlaan towards Burchtstraat. Continue straight for about 600 meters until you reach the intersection with the Brusselsestraat. Turn left onto Brusselsestraat and continue for approximately 400 meters. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Dendermondsesteenweg. Follow this road for about 1 kilometer, then turn right onto Mechelsesteenweg. After about 800 meters, you will arrive at Margaretha van Oostenrijk, located at Schoenmarkt in Mechelen.

From Aalst city center, walk to the nearest bus stop, 'Aalst Station'. Take bus line 150 towards Mechelen, which runs every 30 minutes. The journey takes about 30 minutes.
