Getting There

• Train

  From Aalst station, take a train towards Charleroi. Make sure to check the timetable as trains run frequently. Get off at Genappe station. Once you arrive at Genappe station, exit the station and head south on Rue de la Station. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Chau. de Bruxelles. Turn right onto Chau. de Bruxelles, and you will find Napoleon's Last Headquarters at number 66 on your left.

• Bus

  From the Aalst bus station, take bus line 129 towards Genappe. The bus will take you directly to Genappe. After about 30 minutes, get off at the Genappe stop. From the bus stop, walk south on Rue de la Station for about 1 kilometer. At the intersection with Chau. de Bruxelles, turn right, and you will see Napoleon's Last Headquarters at 66 on your left.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Aalst. Start your journey by heading southwest towards the N45 road. Follow the cycle path along the N45 until you reach Genappe. Continue on the cycle path through Genappe, and when you reach the intersection with Chau. de Bruxelles, turn left. Napoleon's Last Headquarters will be on your left at number 66.

• Walking

  If you're feeling adventurous and want to walk, start from the center of Aalst and head towards the southwest direction. Follow the main roads until you reach the N45. Once you reach the N45, head towards Genappe, which is approximately 7 kilometers away. Upon reaching Genappe, follow the signs towards the town center. When you get to Chau. de Bruxelles, turn left, and you will find Napoleon's Last Headquarters at number 66.
