Tram lines 1, 2, and 6 also stop nearby at the 'Diamond' or 'Astrid' stations. Opera Antwerpen is located within walking distance of many central Antwerp landmarks. From the Grote Markt, walk north along Meir, Antwerp's main shopping street, then turn left onto Frankrijklei. The opera house will be on your right. The walk is approximately 15-20 minutes. From Antwerp Central Station, exit onto Astridplein and walk straight ahead on Frankrijklei. The opera house will be on your left, about a 5-minute walk.
