Public Transport

Tram lines 1, 2, and 6 also stop nearby at the 'Diamond' or 'Astrid' stations. Walking
Opera Antwerpen is located within walking distance of many central Antwerp landmarks. From the Grote Markt, walk north along Meir, Antwerp's main shopping street, then turn left onto Frankrijklei. The opera house will be on your right. The walk is approximately 15-20 minutes. From Antwerp Central Station, exit onto Astridplein and walk straight ahead on Frankrijklei. The opera house will be on your left, about a 5-minute walk.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available throughout Antwerp. A taxi ride from Antwerp Central Station to Opera Antwerpen typically costs between €8 and €12, depending on traffic. Taxi stands are located at the station and major squares. Ride-sharing services like Uber are also available. Be aware that fares may be higher during peak hours or special events.
Car
If driving, be aware that access to the city center may be restricted, and parking can be challenging. Consider using a Park and Ride (P+R) facility on the outskirts of the city and taking a tram to the opera house. If driving into the center, follow the 'Leien' and park at Parking Opera Antwerpen underneath the Operaplein. Alternatively, Q-Park Astridplein and Q-Park Keyserlei are within a short walk. Parking rates range from €2.30 to €5.70 per hour.
