Train
From Aalst train station, take a train towards Brussels. Look for trains heading to 'Bruxelles-Central' or 'Bruxelles-Midi'. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Brussels Central Station, exit the station and head towards the Rue de la Montagne. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Rue du Lombard. Turn left onto Rue du Lombard, and you will find the Brussels Parlement at number 69 on your right.

From Aalst city center, you can take bus line 150 towards Brussels. Get off at the 'Bruxelles, Gare du Midi' stop. From there, transfer to Metro line 2 or 6 towards 'Elisabeth' or 'Roi Baudouin'. Get off at 'Parc' station. Exit the station and head towards the Rue de la Loi. Walk straight until you reach the junction with Rue du Lombard. Turn right onto Rue du Lombard, and the Brussels Parlement will be at number 69.

If you are near the center of Aalst, you can take a pleasant walk to the train station. Once at Aalst train station, follow the guidance provided above for taking the train to Brussels Central Station. Upon arriving at Brussels Central, exit and navigate to Rue de la Montagne, then turn left on Rue du Lombard to reach the Brussels Parlement.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike in Aalst and follow the bike paths leading to Brussels. The route is approximately 20 kilometers and will take about 1 hour.
