From the square, take the main street (Kerkstraat) and walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the bus station (Station Aalst). There, catch bus number 150 towards Leuven. After approximately 25 minutes, you will arrive at Leuven bus station. From the bus station, exit and walk straight for about 5 minutes until you reach Rector de Somerplein. The Fonske statue will be in front of you.

Upon arrival at Leuven station, exit the station and head towards Rector de Somerplein. It’s about a 15-minute walk: exit the station, turn left onto Diestsevest, and then continue straight until you reach the square where the Fonske statue is located.
