Walking
From the Aalst Central Station, exit the station and head southwest on Koning Albertstraat towards Nieuwstraat. Continue walking straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Korte Parelstraat. Turn right onto Korte Parelstraat and walk for another 200 meters. At the end of Korte Parelstraat, turn left onto Korte Zoutstraat and follow it until you reach the main square. The Martelarenplein in Leuven will be on your right, just a short walk away.
Train
From Aalst Central Station, purchase a ticket to Leuven. Board a train heading towards Leuven, which typically takes around 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Leuven Station, exit the station and walk straight down Diestsevest for about 300 meters. Continue straight until you reach the Martelarenplein, which will be on your left.
Bus
From Aalst Central, head to the bus stop located right outside the station. Take bus number 152 towards Leuven. This journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Leuven bus station, exit the bus and walk towards the main square. Head straight through the main plaza, and you will find the Martelarenplein nearby.
