Getting There

Walking
From the Aalst city center, head south towards the main square (Grote Markt). Once you reach the square, take the street leading towards the 'Oude Vismijn' and continue straight until you reach the 'Burgemeester Jozef De Ruyterstraat'. Turn left onto this street and follow it until you reach the train station (Station Aalst). At the train station, take a train to Antwerp (Antwerpen-Centraal). After approximately 30 minutes, you will arrive at Antwerpen-Centraal station. From the station, exit onto the 'Koningin Astridplein', then walk straight down the 'Meir' street until you reach the 'Italiëlei'. Turn right onto 'Italiëlei' and walk for about 10 minutes until you reach 'Italiëlei 9', where the Parkbrug is located.

Public Transport
Start at the Aalst city center and walk to the nearest bus stop. Take bus line 1 towards Antwerp. The bus will take you directly to the 'Antwerpen-Centraal' station. From there, walk to the 'Koningin Astridplein', and then down the 'Meir' street. After about 10 minutes of walking, turn right onto 'Italiëlei' and continue walking for another 10 minutes until you reach 'Italiëlei 9', where the Parkbrug is located.

If you prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Aalst. From the city center, head towards the 'E40' cycling path that leads to Antwerp. Follow the cycling path towards Antwerp for about 25 kilometers. Once you arrive in Antwerp, make your way towards the city center and follow the signs to 'Italiëlei'. When you reach 'Italiëlei', head to number 9, where you will find the Parkbrug.
