Walking
From the Aalst train station, exit the station and head southwest on Stationstraat toward Burchtstraat. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Scheldestraat. Turn left onto Scheldestraat and walk until you reach the bus stop for bus 93. Take bus 93 towards Ghent for about 30 minutes. Alight at 'Sint-Michielsplein' bus stop. From there, St Michael's Bridge is a short walk away. Just cross the street and you'll see the bridge right in front of you.

Start from the Aalst city center. Head to the nearest bus stop, which is on the main square, 'Grote Markt'. Take bus 93 towards Ghent. This bus runs frequently, so you won't have to wait long. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at 'Sint-Michielsplein'. St Michael's Bridge will be directly in front of you as you exit the bus.
