Train
From Aalst train station, take a train towards Brussels. Trains to Brussels are frequent, and the journey takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Brussels-Central station, exit the train and follow the signs for 'Exit to the city'.

After exiting Brussels-Central, head towards the Rue de la Loi. Continue straight for about 5 minutes until you reach the Place de la Bourse. From there, turn left onto Rue de l'Écuyer and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Madeleine. Turn right onto Rue de la Madeleine, and after a short distance, you will see the St. Michael & St. Gudula Cathedral on your left at Esp. de la Sainte-Gudule.
