Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're at the Antwerp Central Station, exit the station and head southeast on Koningin Astridplein toward Frankrijklei. Continue straight onto De Keyserlei, which will turn into the Meir, a busy shopping street. Walk along Meir until you reach the intersection with Wapper. Turn right onto Wapper, and continue straight until you reach Groenplaats. You will see the large square with the cathedral and cafes ahead.

    From the Antwerp Central Station, take tram line 9 or 11 towards 'Merksem' or 'Hoboken' respectively. Get off at 'Meir' stop. From there, walk straight ahead along Meir, which leads you directly to the Groenplaats. It is a short 5-minute walk from the tram stop to the square.
