If you are in Het Zuid, start by heading towards the intersection of Leopold de Waelplaats and Mechelseplein. From there, walk east on Mechelseplein until you reach the intersection with Marnixplaats. Take a left onto Marnixplaats, and you will find Monument Schelde Vrij located at the end of the square. It should take you about 10 minutes on foot.

For those who prefer public transport, you can take tram line 4 or 10 from the nearest tram stop, which is 'Zuid', located on the corner of Van Dyckstraat. Board the tram in the direction of 'Harmonie' or 'Schoonselhof' and get off at the 'Meir' stop. From there, it's a short walk to Marnixplaats: head west on Meir towards the intersection, then turn left onto Marnixplaats where you will find Monument Schelde Vrij. The tram ticket costs approximately €3.
