Public Transport
From Antwerp Central Station, take the train towards Leuven. Trains run frequently, approximately every 20 minutes. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Leuven Station, exit the station and head towards the main square, which is a short 10-minute walk straight down Naamsestraat. Continue straight until you reach Martelarenplein.
Walking
If you are staying in the city center of Antwerp, you may take a walking route to Leuven. Begin at the Cathedral of Our Lady and head southwest towards Groenplaats. From there, follow the signs to the city center and then take the bus 500 or 505 from Antwerp's main bus station (next to the central station) to Leuven. The bus ride is about 40 minutes, and from the bus stop in Leuven, it's a 5-minute walk to Martelarenplein.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the bike rental stations in Antwerp. Head southeast towards the river and follow the cycle path along the Scheldt River. You will eventually connect to the bike paths leading to Leuven. The cycling distance is approximately 25 km and will take around 1 hour and 30 minutes. Upon arriving in Leuven, follow the signs directing to Martelarenplein.
