Gravensteen Castle is centrally located in Ghent, making it easily accessible on foot from most major attractions. From the Korenmarkt, walk north along the Groentenmarkt, then turn left onto Jan Breydelstraat. Continue onto Sint-Veerleplein, where the castle is located. The walk is approximately 5 minutes and offers views of the city center.

The easiest way to reach Gravensteen by public transport is via tram. From Gent-Sint-Pieters railway station, take tram line 2 to the 'Gravensteen/Veerleplein' stop, which is right next to the castle. Alternatively, take tram lines 1 or 4 and disembark at the 'Gravensteen' stop. A single tram ticket costs €2.50.
