Getting There
Walking
From the parking area near Reinhardstein Castle, follow the marked hiking trails leading towards the valley. The path descends into the valley, with signs indicating 'cascade'. The walk takes approximately 30 minutes. Be prepared for a challenging descent and ascent, with some sections being steep and slippery. No costs are associated with walking to the waterfall.
Public Transport
Take bus line 390, 845, or 748 to Robertville Barrage. From the bus stop, it's approximately a 13-minute walk (988 meters) to Cascade de Reinhardstein. Follow the signs towards the castle and then the waterfall. A single bus fare costs around €3. Be aware that the bus service may be infrequent, so check the timetable in advance.
Driving
Drive towards Reinhardstein Castle via Chemin du Cheneux. Limited parking is available approximately 600 meters from the castle entrance. Parking is free. As an alternative, park near the Robertville dam ('Barrage du Robertville') along Route du Barrage and hike 1.5 km to the castle and waterfall. Larger vehicles should avoid driving past the first parking lot due to limited turning space.
