Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving from the center of Liège, head southeast on Rue Saint-Laurent toward Avenue de la Liberté. Continue onto Boulevard de la Constitution. Merge onto the N3 and follow it for approximately 12 km. Take the exit toward Ében-Émael and merge onto Route du Fort. Continue straight until you reach Rue du Fort 40, where Fort Eben-Emael is located. There is parking available near the entrance.

    To reach Fort Eben-Emael using public transportation, start at the Liège-Guillemins train station. Take a train to the nearest stop, which is Visé. From Visé station, you can take bus line 82 towards Ében-Emael. Get off at the 'Ében-Émael, Fort' stop. The fort will be a short walk from there; just head northeast on Rue du Fort for about 500 meters until you arrive at Rue du Fort 40.
