If you are driving from Oostende, take the E40 highway towards Bruges. After about 25 kilometers, take exit 8 towards Brugge. Continue on N31, and follow the signs for Bruges city center. Once you reach the city center, find parking at one of the public parking areas, such as 'Parking Centrum' or 'Sint-Pieterskerk'. From the parking area, walk towards 'Markt' square, then follow the signs to 'De Garre', which is a short walk from there at De Garre 1.

To reach De Garre using public transportation, take a train to Bruges from any station along the Belgian Coast line (like Oostende or Knokke). Once you arrive at Bruges train station, take bus line 1 or 4 towards the city center. Get off at 'Dijver' stop. From there, it's a 10-minute walk: head towards the canal, cross the bridge, and continue straight until you reach 'Markt' square. From 'Markt', walk to the small street 'De Garre' where you'll find the bar at number 1.
