Bus
From Blankenberge, walk to the Blankenberge bus station located on the main road (Koning Alberto I-laan). Take bus line 1 towards 'Brugge' and stay on the bus for approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at 'Brugge, Centrum' stop. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to Potterierei: head southeast on 'Oostmeers' street and continue until you reach 'Potterierei' at 8000 Bruges.
Train
Walk to Blankenberge train station, which is located near the city center. Catch a train towards 'Brugge' (the journey takes about 15 minutes). Once you arrive at Brugge station, exit the station and turn left onto 'Stationsplein'. Walk straight until you reach 'Katelijnestraat' and turn right. Continue walking straight for about 15 minutes until you reach Potterierei at 8000 Bruges.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Blankenberge. Start by heading east towards the coastal bike path. Follow the signs to Bruges, which is about 14 kilometers away. The ride will take you through beautiful scenery and should take around 40-50 minutes. Once you arrive in Bruges, navigate towards 'Potterierei' by following the bike lanes toward the city center.
Walking
For those who enjoy a long walk, you can walk directly from Blankenberge to Bruges, which is approximately 14 kilometers. Head east along the coastal path until you reach the edge of Bruges. Follow the signs towards the city center, then continue to 'Potterierei' at 8000 Bruges. This walk will take about 2.5 to 3 hours, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
