Getting There
Walking
From the center of Blankenberge, head towards the main road, Zeedijk. Walk along Zeedijk in the direction of the train station. After about 10 minutes, you will reach the Blankenberge train station. From there, take the train to Bruges (Brugge). The train journey takes approximately 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Bruges train station, exit the station and head towards the city center by walking straight down Koning Albert I-laan. After about 10 minutes, you will reach the historic city center. Continue onto Mariastraat, and after a short walk, you will find Site Oud Sint-Jan at Mariastraat 38.
Bus
From Blankenberge, head to the nearest bus stop on the Zeedijk. Take the bus line 33 towards Bruges. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop ‘Brugge Centrum’. From the bus stop, walk towards the city center. Head straight onto Langestraat and continue until you reach Mariastraat. Site Oud Sint-Jan is located at Mariastraat 38.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Blankenberge. Head towards the coastal bike path (Fietsknooppunt). Follow the bike path that leads to Bruges. The ride takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Bruges, follow the signs to the city center. Continue until you reach Mariastraat, where Site Oud Sint-Jan is located at number 38.
