If you're driving to De Burg from anywhere in Bruges Coast, enter the address 'Burg 15, 8000 Brugge' into your GPS. Depending on your starting point, you will likely take the N31 towards Bruges. Once in Bruges, follow signs for the city center (Centrum). As you approach, look for parking options. The nearest parking is at 'Parking Centrum', which typically charges around €2 per hour. From the parking area, it's about a 10-minute walk to De Burg. Simply head east on 'Oude Zand', then turn left onto 'Sint-Jakobsstraat' which will lead you directly to De Burg.
Public Transportation
To reach De Burg using public transport, start by finding the nearest bus or train station in Bruges Coast. If you're taking the train, board a train heading to 'Bruges'. The train journey typically takes about 30 minutes and the ticket costs approximately €6. Once you arrive at Bruges Station, exit and take bus number 1 or 6 towards 'Brugge Centrum'. Get off at the 'Burg' stop, which is a short walk from De Burg. The total travel time from the station to De Burg will be around 15 minutes.
Walking
If you're already in Bruges and prefer to walk to De Burg, simply navigate to 'Oude Zand' and follow it until you reach 'Sint-Jakobsstraat'. Turn left onto 'Sint-Jakobsstraat' and continue walking straight. You will see De Burg in about a 10-minute walk.
