Walking
From the central market square (Grote Markt) in Bruges, head towards the northwest corner of the square. You will see the Belfry and the Provincial Court. Exit the square and walk straight along the Mariastraat. Continue walking until you reach the junction with the Sint-Jakobsstraat. Turn left onto Sint-Jakobsstraat and keep walking straight. After approximately 850 meters, you will reach the station where you can catch a train to Ypres. The train journey takes about 30 minutes.
Train
Once you arrive at Ypres train station, exit the station and head towards the east. Follow the station exit road until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the Korte Smeestraat. Continue walking straight until you reach the Grote Markt. The In Flanders Fields Museum is located at Lakenhallen, Grote Markt 34, just off the square. It will be on your right side.
Public Transport
From the central market square in Bruges, walk to the nearest bus stop called 'Brugge Markt.' Take Bus 1 towards Ypres. The journey will take approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive in Ypres, disembark at the 'Ypres Grote Markt' stop. The In Flanders Fields Museum is only a short walk away. Head towards the Lakenhallen building which is located at Grote Markt 34.
