    Getting There

    Walking

    From the Oostende train station, walk along the Leopold II-laan towards the sea. The Kursaal will be on your left at the end of the street, about a 15-20 minute walk.

    Public Transport

    Take the coastal tram to the 'Marie-Joséplein' stop, which is 200 meters from the Kursaal. Alternatively, several bus lines stop at 'Marie-Joséplein' and 'Oostende Casino-Kursaal'. A single tram or bus ticket costs approximately €3.

    Taxi

    Taxis are readily available throughout Ostend. A short taxi ride from the train station or another point in the city center to the Kursaal will cost approximately €10-€15.

    Driving

    When entering Ostend via the E40/A10, follow the directions for 'Centrum'. Drive to Vuurkruisenplein and take the third exit on the roundabout. Continue straight. Paid parking is available at Parking Kursaal 1 (Monacoplein) directly underneath the Kursaal, with rates starting at €2.30 for 30 minutes. Other nearby paid parking options include Parking Kursaal 2 (Christinastraat 23F) and Zeeparking (Hendrik Serruyslaan). Free parking is available at Randparking Maria-Hendrikapark (Iependreef), a 10-minute walk away.
