Walking
If you are starting from the Bruges city center (Markt), head east towards the main square. Continue walking straight until you reach the junction with 'Hoogstraat'. Turn left on 'Hoogstraat' and walk until you hit 'Korte Zilverstraat'. Turn right here and follow this street until you reach 'Korte Zilverstraat'. Keep walking straight until you see the sign for the train station. From the train station, you can hop on a train towards Kortrijk. Once you arrive at Kortrijk station, exit and walk straight onto 'Grote Markt' which will be a 10-minute walk straight ahead.
Public Transport
From Bruges, make your way to the Bruges train station. You can walk or take a bus (Bus line 1 or 6) to the station. Once there, purchase a ticket to Kortrijk at the ticket counter or machine. Trains run frequently, so check the schedule for the next available train. Once you arrive in Kortrijk, the Grote Markt is a short walk from the station. Exit the station, turn right onto 'Doorniksewijk', and continue straight until you reach the 'Grote Markt'.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Bruges. Start at the Markt and head towards the 'Zuidzandstraat', following the signs to Kortrijk. The route is well-marked and will take you through beautiful countryside. It’s approximately a 30-minute ride. Once you arrive in Kortrijk, follow the signs to the city center, and you will find yourself at the 'Grote Markt'.
