From the Markt (Market Square), walk straight down Breidelstraat until you reach Burg Square. The Basilica is located at Burg 13. Walking from the Markt to the Basilica takes approximately 5-10 minutes.

If arriving by train at Bruges Station, take bus line 1 or 12 towards 'Burg'. Get off at the 'Burg' stop, which is a 2-minute walk to the Basilica. Bus tickets cost €3. Alternatively, from Bruges Station perron A1, take the De Lijn bus to Brugge Dijver. The bus runs every 10 minutes, and the journey takes approximately 5 minutes. From the Brugge Dijver bus stop, it is a short walk to the Basilica.
