Housed within the grand Brussels Stock Exchange (Bourse) building, this interactive experience explores the history, traditions, and brewing secrets of Belgian beer, a beverage recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage. The museum showcases over a hundred Belgian breweries, from small family businesses to large-scale operations. Visitors can delve into the stories of brewing families, uncover the unique brewing processes, and learn about the diverse range of Belgian beer styles. The experience is designed to be sensory, playful, and emotional, with interactive exhibits that bring the history of Belgian beer to life. The visit culminates at the Skybar, an all-glass bar on the roof of the Bourse, offering 360° views of Brussels. Here, visitors can enjoy a tasting session, choosing from a selection of over 150 Belgian beers while taking in the stunning cityscape. The Skybar is also accessible outside of the museum's opening hours and can be booked for private events. In addition to the beer experience, the Belgian Beer World ticket includes access to Bruxella 1238, an archaeological site located under the Stock Exchange that reveals the remains of a former Franciscan convent and traces Brussels' history.
