Metro
If you are near a metro station, take Metro Line 2 or 6 towards 'Elisabeth' or 'Simonis'. Get off at 'Parc' station. Once you exit the metro, head towards the large park area. Walk straight towards the exit, and turn right onto Rue de la Loi. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Avenue de la Renaissance. Turn left onto Avenue de la Renaissance, and follow it until you see the signs for Pl. Poelaert.
Tram
Catch Tram Line 93 or 94 from a nearby tram stop. If you are coming from the city center, board the tram towards 'Héros' or 'Gare du Midi'. Get off at the 'Poelaert' stop. From the tram stop, walk up the steps towards the square. Pl. Poelaert will be right in front of you.
Bus
Take Bus Line 27 or 34 from your nearest bus stop. If you are in the center, you can catch the bus from 'Brussels Central' station. Ride until you reach the 'Poelaert' bus stop. When you get off, walk towards the square. You will see Pl. Poelaert directly ahead.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of the Brussels City Center, you can simply walk to Pl. Poelaert. From the Grand Place, head southwest toward Rue de la Montagne. Continue along Rue de la Montagne until you reach the intersection with Rue de l'Empereur, then turn left. Follow this road, which will lead you uphill to Pl. Poelaert. Enjoy the view as you walk!
