Walking
If you are starting from Brussels Central Station, exit the station and head towards Rue de la Loi. Walk straight for approximately 1.5 kilometers, enjoying the sights as you pass by the Royal Palace and the Parc de Bruxelles. Once you reach Parc du Cinquantenaire, you will see the large arch and gardens. The Monument to General Thys is located within the Parc on Avenue de la Joyeuse Entrée, on your left as you walk through the park.

From Brussels Central Station, take Metro Line 1 (the light blue line) towards Stockel. Alight at the 'Schuman' station after 4 stops. Exit the station and walk towards the Parc du Cinquantenaire, which is about a 10-minute walk. Enter the park from the main entrance and the Monument to General Thys will be on your left as you walk through.
