Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're in the center of De Haan, head towards the coast and walk along the beach promenade. Keep walking north until you reach the end of the promenade. Once you reach the end, continue on the main road until you reach the intersection with Zeedijk. Turn left onto Zeedijk and walk until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Koningin Astridlaan and keep walking straight. After about 1 km, you'll come across Leopold II-laan on your right. Continue walking until you reach the entrance of Leopoldpark, located at Leopold II-laan, 8400 Ostend.

  • Biking

    Start at De Haan’s main square and head towards the beach. Rent a bike from one of the nearby rental shops. Once you have your bike, ride along the coast heading north on the bicycle path. Continue until you see the signs for Ostend. You will pass through a beautiful coastal route. Once you arrive in Ostend, follow the signs for Leopold II-laan, which should be along the main road. It will take you approximately 20-30 minutes to reach Leopoldpark.

    From De Haan, head to the nearest bus stop and take bus line 44 towards Ostend. The bus journey will take about 25 minutes. Get off at the Ostend station. From there, walk towards the city center and head to Leopold II-laan. Follow the signs or use a maps app for navigation. The park entrance will be along this road.
