Getting There

• Walking

  Dijver is centrally located and easily accessible on foot from most major Bruges landmarks. From the Markt (Market Square), walk southeast towards Breidelstraat, then continue onto Wollestraat. Turn right onto Dijver. The walk is approximately 5-10 minutes. No costs involved.

• Public Transport

  From Bruges train station, take bus line 1 or 4 towards 'Brugge Centrum'. Get off near the city center at 't Zand, Sint-Salvatorskerk, Markt, O.L.V. Kerk, Dijver, or Stadsschouwburg. From there, it is approximately a 5-10 minute walk to Dijver, following signs towards the Markt. A single bus ticket costs €3.00 if purchased in advance at a kiosk or €3.50 if bought on the bus.

  Taxis are readily available in Bruges. A taxi from the train station to Dijver will cost approximately €11-€21, depending on the distance and time of day. There are taxi stands at the train station, 't Zand Square, and Dijver itself.

Parking options include the underground car parks Centrum-’t Zand (a 10-minute walk to the Market Square) and Centrum-Station (a 20-minute walk to the Market Square). Parking Centrum-’t Zand costs approximately €15.80 for a full day. Parking Centrum-Station costs approximately €6.10/day and includes a free bus ticket for up to 4 people to the city center. Above-ground parking in the city center is limited to 4 hours and costs €3.00 for 1 hour, €7.00 for 2 hours, €12.00 for 3 hours, and €18.00 for 4 hours.
