Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start from the center of De Panne. Head west on the Avenue du Verger towards the Avenue des Dunes. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout at the intersection with the Leopold I Esplanade. Take the first exit onto Leopold I Esplanade. The Monument der geallieerden will be on your left side. There is usually street parking available nearby, but do check for any parking restrictions.

• Public Transportation

  If you're using public transportation, take the local bus service that connects various points in De Panne. Look for the bus route that goes to the Leopold I Esplanade. You can catch the bus from De Panne's central bus station, which is near the beach. Once you arrive at the Leopold I Esplanade stop, the Monument der geallieerden will be just a short walk away. Follow the pedestrian path along the esplanade, and you should see the monument directly ahead. Keep in mind that bus fares vary, so have some change ready.

• Walking

  For those who prefer to walk, if you're already in the vicinity of the beach or the main shopping area in De Panne, simply head towards the Leopold I Esplanade. From the beach, walk northeast along the promenade until you reach the esplanade. The walk is scenic and should take about 15-20 minutes. As you walk, enjoy the views of the sea and local shops. Once you reach the esplanade, the monument will be easily visible along the path.
