Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're starting from the Dinant train station, exit the station and head left towards the river. Follow the Rue de la Station until you reach the Meuse River. Turn right and walk along the riverbank until you see the Pont des Acacias bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight on Rue du Cerf. After a short walk, you will see a sign for Citadelle de Dinant. Follow the signs uphill to the entrance.

    From the main square in Dinant (Place Reine Fabiola), head towards the river and walk along the riverside promenade (Quai des Eaux) in the direction of the train station. Once you reach the Pont des Acacias bridge, cross it and continue on Rue du Cerf. As you walk, keep an eye out for signs indicating the direction of Citadelle de Dinant. The path leads uphill to the citadel entrance.
