Walking
If you are starting from the Dinant city center (e.g., near the Dinant train station), head southwest on Rue de la Station towards Rue des Combattants. Continue straight until you reach the riverbank and the Meuse river. Once at the river, turn left and walk along the riverside promenade. Keep walking for about 10 minutes, enjoying the views of the river and the surrounding cliffs. You will pass several cafes and shops along the way. As you approach the bridge called Pont Charles de Gaulle, cross the bridge and continue straight onto Rue de la Carrière. Follow the road until you reach Place Reine Astrid, where Notre Dame de Dinant is located. The church will be directly in front of you at the end of the square.
Public Transport (Bus)
From the Dinant train station, take bus line 6 towards Anseremme. The bus stop is located right outside the station. Ride for about 5 minutes and get off at the stop called 'Dinant - Place Reine Astrid.' After getting off, walk straight ahead, and you will see Notre Dame de Dinant at the end of the square. This option is great if you prefer a quicker route without walking too much.
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Dinant. Start your journey from the rental shop and head towards the Meuse river, following the riverside path. The bike path is well-marked and scenic. Continue along the river for about 15 minutes until you reach Place Reine Astrid.
