Walking
From the center of Dinant, walk towards the Meuse River. Start on Rue de la Station and follow it until you reach the riverbank. Enjoy the scenic views, then continue along the riverbank until you reach the Pont Charles de Gaulle (Charles de Gaulle Bridge). Cross the bridge and continue straight along the river on Rue de la Meuse. After approximately 500 meters, turn left onto Rue Defoin and follow it for about 200 meters. Rocher Bayard will be on your right. No costs are associated with this approach.

From Dinant train station, exit and walk to the bus stop just outside. Take bus line 1 (towards Yvoir). The journey takes about 10-15 minutes. Get off at the 'Defoin' stop. Walk straight down Rue Defoin for approximately 200 meters to Rocher Bayard, which will be visible on your right. A single bus fare is around €3.
