Getting There

    From the center of Durbuy, start at the Place aux Foires. Head southeast on Rue de la Station towards Rue de la Petite Suisse. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rue des Récollectines. Turn left onto Rue des Récollectines and follow it until you reach the main road, N4. Cross the road and follow the signs for the train station. Once at the train station, take a train towards Namur. The journey takes about 30 minutes.

  • Train

    Once you arrive at Namur train station, exit the station and walk towards the bus stop located outside the main entrance. Board bus line 2 or 3 heading towards 'Citadelle'. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Citadelle' stop. From the bus stop, follow the signs up the hill towards the Citadelle de Namur, which is a short 5-minute walk.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bike in Durbuy and take the scenic route along the River Ourthe. Follow the bike paths towards the N4 road. Once you reach the N4, head towards Namur. The distance is about 30 km and should take around 1.5 to 2 hours by bike, depending on your pace. Upon reaching Namur, look for signs directing you to the Citadelle, which is located on a hill overlooking the city.
